NIGERIAN WORKERS ATTITUDE TO WORK AND ITS EFFECT ON PRODUCTIVITY

ABSTRACT

This study was carried out to examine Nigerian workers attitude to work and its effect on productivity in  Abuja. Specifically, the study examined and analyze the concept of attitude and its effect on the organization as a whole. The study also, examines those factors underlying behavior, factors that determine how people behave or will behave under certain conditions.and finally, the study  unveil those workers behaviour that affect productivity in any organization especially government establishment.  in Abuja . The study employed the survey descriptive research design. A total of 30 responses were validated from the survey. From the responses obtained and analyzed, the findings revealed that People work because they want to learn new thing. Also, People work because they want to  get more skills,furthermore, People work to make friends with new people. And finally, Workers attitude can affect the presence of innovation and creativity  The study recommend That organization should be considerate of their workers by motivating and giving them the right incentive so as for the workers to have the right attitude towards work. The study also recommends  That workers should not take their job with a hand of levity, and they should always have a positive outlook towards work.and finally, That workers should develop the right attitude towards work as it makes work much easier for them.
